We are excited to announce that Middletown Archery Club will be participating in this year’s Santa’s Parade and we want you to join us for a day of festive fun!
This annual parade will be taking place Sunday, November 25th in the heart of Media, PA with the route set for a half-mile journey down State Street. And along with having our own decorative float, we want our club members (YOU!) to join us and be a part of the parade!
As we march along, you will be greeting the thousands of enthusiastic spectators that will line the street and since it is the season of giving, we will have some fun, Middletown swag you can hand out to people. We even have a special gift for those of you who will be joining us in the parade.
The parade will begin at 5PM and end with the guests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Claus!
If you would like to participate in the parade with us, please FILL OUT THIS FORM so we can get a headcount for how many people will be joining us. Also, we highly encourage you to rock your Middletown Archery spirit wear for the parade!
Details:
The parade is set to begin at 5PM sharply (see map below for route), which means we want everyone that is going to march with our float to be there no later than 4PM. Stay tuned for an exact location in borough where we will convene.
The day of events will start with a Block Party at 2:30PM between State and Front Streets. There will be lots of activities, food/refreshments, giveaways, and exhibits to check out. You can also enter in the costume contest and participate in the one-mile Fun Run/Walk!
All of these pre-parade events are free, but have an “admission fee” in the form of a donation. So please bring an unwrapped toy for a child in need or canned good for Media Food Bank if you plan on enjoying these festivities.
So if you are free on the 25th, come help us spread the joy of archery to the community during this holiday season!
